the scoop:

The semester is finally winding down and in the next few weeks a much needed break for Brandon (ok ok, I need it too) will be here.  Here are some things that have been going on recently and will be going on soon for us:
  • Brandon had 2 oral exams recently and just got one of his grades back (Ross has been dragging their feet with returning the grades to the students) and he did really well!  He scored "above average" for all parts of the exam and I am so proud of him!
  • He has 3 more tests for the semester.  This Monday, 3rd Semesters have a Pathology Lab at 8AM and depending on who you talk to, it's either really tough or really easy.  The lab is Brandon's been keeping to a pretty rigorous study schedule lately and I truly believe it's what will help him for the tests.  Wednesday of next week is Mini 3, then the following Wednesday is Semester 3's final exam.
  • The family will be coming down to Dominica for a visit next Wednesday!  We are beyond excited since we haven't seen anybody in 8 months (in person at least) and we have a plenty of trips planned for them.  It will be more of a relaxing trip compared to Lindsay's or my Mom's back in March.
  • We've been saying good-bye to lots of friends this past week.  It's sad but bittersweet seeing them leave the island and move on with their lives back to the States.  We've made such strong friendships over these past months that we really are more like a family than a group of friends.  We'll miss you guys so much and wish you nothing but the best as you continue your journeys with your medical school careers.  We love you guys :)
Most of the girls at Jen's to say good-bye to her family and others that will be leaving this week
